Our MBD Series grits include five products, i.e. MBD20, MBD35, MBD50, MBD65 and MBD80. The main differences between each product are toughness and thermal stability.

All our MBD Series diamond grits are sieved under controlled conditions in accordance with international standard. Except MBD80, the other products are available as standard in the full range of sizes from 60/80 to 400/500 US mesh. MBD80 is available in sizes from 60/80 to 140/170 US mesh.

For metal bond applications, the particle strength is the most important characteristic to evaluate the abrasive, both at room temperature and higher while, the particle shape will affect the bond retention.

For MBD Series grits, there are two kinds of coatings available, i.e. Ti coatings and Ti-Ni coatings.
